- COVID-19 Update for Five Star
Five Star Bus: The Union has been in touch with the Employer daily. We, along with Five Star, are encouraging all to sign up for unemployment as we await further information. At this time Five Star is communicating and asking the School Department to continue to fund the transportation bills as long as this shutdown is upon us. Our goal, of course, is to see the funds continue to flow to Five Star and in turn to the drivers in the hopes to get drivers paid during the shutdown. Should this happen, drivers could of course cancel or payback any unemployment claim. Once we know more we will update you all.
Five Star Mechanics: Five Star has indicated that Mechanics should continue to report to work unless otherwise specified.
