Membership Service
|
You see, your contract is not worth the paper it is printed on unless you enforce it. The specific Union Representative assigned to your location is your advocate in contract enforcement. Servicing our membership is of the utmost importance and, in order to be successful, we need the cooperation of the members. The key to solving problems and enforcement of the Union contract is the Grievance Procedure. In the event you have a problem, regardless of its nature, or if you have a grievance under the terms of your Union contract, we advise you to discuss it with your department head, manager, or immediate supervisor. If it is not resolved, contact your Union Steward or Business Representative. If you wish to take your problem directly to the Union, please do. Remember to check your contract for any time limits which may apply. It is the Union's obligation to see a complete and just solution
to each and every complaint any member may have. |
